Privacy Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026
This site exists to tell you about Guardrail Parenting and to give you a way to reach us. We collect very little, and we don't sell or share what you send us. Here's the whole picture.
What you send us
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you choose, and your message. We use that information for one thing: replying to you. If you ask about speaking or ordering books for a group, we may follow up by email about that request.
We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Who helps us run the site
A few outside services handle parts of the site, and each has its own privacy policy:
- Netlify hosts the site and receives contact form messages before forwarding them to our email. Like most web hosts, it keeps basic server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site running and secure.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on these pages, so your browser requests font files from Google when a page loads.
- Amazon is where the book is sold. Our buy buttons take you to Amazon, and anything you do there falls under Amazon's privacy policy, not ours.
Cookies and tracking
We don't run advertising, analytics, or tracking scripts, and we don't set cookies to follow you around the web.
Children
This site is written for parents, grandparents, and guardians. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, let us know and we'll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete any message you've sent through the contact form. Just get in touch and tell us what you'd like done.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
